Installation of Rapid SL

Now even faster and easier.

The installation of Rapid SL has always been simple and quick. But now it is even easier and faster with AV1 and the new revision chamber.

What is AV1?
The universal AV1 means that from now on there will be only one discharge valve for concealed and exposed cisterns. It is multifunctional and suitable for all flushing systems.

- large volume (Single Flush)
- large or small volume (Dual Flush)
- interruption (Start / Stop)

As the AV1 is connected only by a pneumatic hose at the back of the actuation, installation is faster and safer, too - with no risk of confusion. Simply connecting the hose is sufficient.

What is the advantage of the new revision chamber?

Another great time saver is the fact that the frame for the actuation plates is fixed directly to the component. A separate depth adjustment for the frame is not required, because this is done when the inspection chamber is cut.

1. Heigth adjustment element: automatic fixation.

Step 1
Put your foot on the small brackets and pull the element up to the needed height (beware of the meter line) the maximum height can be up to 20 cm.

Step 2:
The automatic fixation takes care that the elements does not fall down.

Step 3:
When the needed height is reached make sure that the element is set straight by using spirit level and now you can make markings on the wall where you have to drill the holes to fix the element against the wall.

Step 4:
With a wrench you can fix the element to the floor.

2. Fixing up the stop valves and the connection towards the filling valve
The stop valve can be mounted on the left, on the right, on the top or on the back of the cistern.
Stop valve and hose can be mounted without using any tools only for opening the stop valve you have to use a screw driver.

Step 1:
Fix the stop valve by using the blue retraining ring. This unique retraining ring takes care that the pipe work does not goes out of the cistern, if you replace the stop valve.

Step 2:
Fix the stop valve.

Step 3:
Fix the hose to the stop valve and flush the hose, so that no dirt or small particles can come inside of the filling valve. Close the stop valve, fix the hose to the filling valve and open the stop valve again.

3. Setting of the flush volume
Starting from September 2007 we introduce even a simpler way to set the flush volume in the concealed cistern. AV-1 is a universal discharge valve which only works with one hose.

- Big flush(Single Flush)
- Big and small flush (Dual Flush)
- Stop function (Start/stop)

One hose means faster connection and so less failures. Because of the compact size of the AV-1 it is very simple to take it out of the service opening when something goes wrong. Another advantage of the system is that the activation plate goes straight on the cistern.

Water volume
At the installation you can set two volumes on the discharge valve.

1. If you want that the cistern gives the maximum amount water move the blue lid to the bottom (see 2) that the opening is closed.

2. Next to this feature you can also set the small flush by adjusting the blue part on the left (see 1)

4. Mounting actuation plate

Step 1
Cut of the plastic mortar cap which sticks out of the tiles.

Step 2
Fix the mounting cap direct on the service opening.

Step 3:
Connect the pneumatic hose onto the actuation plate.
